    They were a very nice and engaged audience with excellent questions
    Just to follow up on the Daily Protein intake question.
    The recommendation of 2 grams protein per kilogram body weight per day is for athletes in training.
    We recommend 1.2 grams protein per kilogram body weight per day for patients with low muscle mass.
    National recommendation for healthy individuals is 0.8 grams per kilogram body weight per day.
    This roughly calculates to daily protein intake of 46 grams per day for women and 56 grams per day for men.
