Hey everybody! My name is Melanie and I live in Latrobe. I am one year out from treatment for breast cancer. I have participated in many of the programs Cancer Bridges has offered. So very grateful for these resources and being able to communicate and learn from others.
Hello, I am Kim E from Mt. Pleasant, quite a distance from Cancer Bridges so thankful for the virtual platform.
I am 56 y.o. and was newly diagnosed 8/2025 with colorectal cancer with metastasis to the liver following a routine colonoscopy. I had the tumor removed and colon resection in September and just completed 6 rounds of chemo. I will now have liver resection surgery Feb 10. I will finish out with the remaining 6 rounds of chemo. It’s been extremely hard. I am grateful for this program to feel like part of society again and to hear other peoples’ story reinforcing that I am not alone, and that we can live with cancer.
Looking forward to everything this program offers!Hey, another program that might be worth checking out on Cancer Bridges is this once a month Integrating Energy Into Your Wellness with Rita Lampe. Next session is at 12:15 on Wed., March 11. It is very interactive with suggestions on what to do for different pain/conditions. I really find it useful. Hope you do too!
