Hello, my name is Cathy Miles. I’m 60 years old and live with my husband Ron and our 27 y/o autistic daughter Rachel. We have a 9 year old lab/boxer mix named Chloe. We live in the North Hills. I was diagnosed in June 2025 with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer with bone metastasis, de novo. I was in the hospital for 4 days with my initial dx because the docs weren’t sure what was causing my rib pain. In July 2025 I had 1 round of radiation on my ribs. I am currently on my 1st line of treatment which is Verzenio (CDK4/6) along with Anastrazole. My latest scans show no evidence of active disease and my tumor markers are back in the normal range. This is my first time doing Happy Feet, but I have done many classes thru Cancer Bridges. I do yoga and have worked with Janette for exercises. Cancer Bridges is a great organization and I have met many wonderful people. I’m really looking forward to this group.
