    Hi again Happy Feeters!

Thank you so much for everyone who participated in our Zoom yesterday evening. As promised, here is the tread for sharing your SMART goals so we can all support and cheer each other on.

And if you weren’t able to make the Zoom yesterday, no worries! You can join in as well. If you check out pages 51 and 52 of your Moving Through Cancer book, you’ll get a quick summary of how the SMART goals construct works.

    Remember SMART stands for:
SPECIFIC – Improvement in a particular area or skill
MEASURABLE – Include some way to indicate or suggest progress
ACHIEVABLE – Can be accomplished under the expected circumstances
    RELEVANT – Worthwhile and applicable
    TIME-BOUND – Have a deadline

Have a great time working toward and achieving your goals!

S: Improve my stamina for playing orchestral rehearsals pain-free in my mid-back.
M: Note how long into rehearsal I can hold my violin up before fatigue affects my comfort.
A: I was pain-free before, so I’m capable of helping my situation to some extent.
R: This affects my professional career.
T: I can record weekly until I’m pain-free, or the end of one concert cycle, or continue through to the end of the season.

This is great, Tina! Thank you for sharing. I love music, but actually playing it is definitely well beyond my skill set. Thank you for adding to the music in the world.

My goal is to keep up with close to the minutes that I do for happy feet
I will do no less they 3/4 of the weekly minutes goal, after the session is over.
I am going to make every day a Happy Feet Day.
This is such a wonderful program and I learn so much. I am so grateful to Jen and everyone else who is part of Happy feet.
So much great info that I keep in my tool box per say. I will continue to use that as well.
    Thank you
    Beth
