ParticipantI just did my assessment. We’ll have to compare it to my initial Sept ’24 Happy Feet assessment.
3/7/25 assessment:
1. Y
2. Y
3. Y (I remember this balance position being difficult for me 6 months ago. Easy peasy now.)
4. 122 right foot lifts
5. 75 curls 5 lb dumbbell (yeesh, 2 min is an eternity for curls)
6. 18 sit to stands (during treatment I could hardly do any, so YAY me! Huge progress.)February 8, 2025 at 4:30 pm in reply to: Welcome to Happy Feet – Introduce yourself here – say Hello! #7616Tina Faigen
ParticipantHi, I’m Tina, breast cancer survivor, currently NED. I was in treatment since the first Happy Feet (I think) program launched during the pandemic and it has been incredibly helpful every time it comes around. I’ve had different needs each time and feel like whatever my current issue may be, some part of the program addresses it because the whole person is being taken into consideration. It’s an awesome program.

ParticipantS: Improve my stamina for playing orchestral rehearsals pain-free in my mid-back.
M: Note how long into rehearsal I can hold my violin up before fatigue affects my comfort.
A: I was pain-free before, so I’m capable of helping my situation to some extent.
R: This affects my professional career.
T: I can record weekly until I’m pain-free, or the end of one concert cycle, or continue through to the end of the season. -
